By now, everyone on the Haul Road knew about us. We were minor celebrities in one of the most desolate regions in the world. The Daily News Miner in Fairbanks wrote: "Among the more unusual riders this year are the two guys from Seattle who just left town on Yamahoppers, 50cc mopeds that can get up to 25mph to 30mph when the winds are right."
