The temperatures on that trip were between 40 and 70 degrees-- not as bad as people often think. Typical clothing included a thermal long sleeve, a flannel, a thin down jacket, a raincoat, long johns, jeans, and rain pants. Finally, on my feet, I'd wear one pair of socks, leather tennis shoes, and rubber galoshes.
