The Moped Adventures were two separate one month trips taken on modified 1985 Yamaha Qt50's.
The 3,000 mile journey began in Seattle, WA. and ended in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska.
Paul Hutzler was joined by Jon Dale for the 2007 adventure from Seattle to Skagway, AK and by Keith Graham for the 2012 adventure from Haines to Prudhoe Bay, AK.
The bikes were modified in several ways. Most importantly, they were outfitted with larger 59cc piston/ cylinders.
The bikes traveled at an average speed of between 25 and 30 mph on the highway. The bike's miles per gallon average varied anywhere between 60 and 125 mpg.
